Check Card Users
Helpful Information So You Can Use Your Check Card When You Want To
To combat Check Card Fraud, INSOUTH Bank uses industry leading technology to help identify and prevent suspected fraudulent Check Card activity. However, occasionally it is necessary to block signature based (credit) check card transactions in other states, foreign countries, and at various merchant locations where fraudulent activity is prevalent. We take these preventive actions very seriously in order to protect INSOUTH Bank account holder’s funds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but assure you that this action is taken to protect you and your account.
To Help Prevent an
Interruption in Check Card Access:
Use Your PIN
If your card is denied, use your PIN. When necessary, INSOUTH Bank will block certain transaction types involving your check card. These transactions are usually concentrated to a particular vendor or type of merchant. In most cases, you will able to process PIN based transactions, referred to by most merchants as “Debit”.
