Since joining the INSOUTH team in 1987, Mike has been a significant leader who has continually displayed excellent dedication and knowledge. As Chief Operating Officer, Mike oversees the company’s daily business operations and administration, implementing business strategies and optimizing the company’s operation capabilities. Mike graduated from Union University in 1999 and received his CPA certification in 2007. Mike and his wife, Lisa, attend Holly Grove Baptist Church. He is a 2003 graduate of the Haywood County Leadership class and has served on the board of Habitat for Humanity. Mike is proud to work for a community bank that understands the value of relationship banking, “I consider myself very fortunate to work with the employees at INSOUTH Bank, who all strive to run the bank safely and soundly while caring for our customers, who are the foundation of our business”, Mike says.
