Use your Debit Card when you want to Identify & Prevent FraudTo combat Debit Card Fraud, INSOUTH Bank uses industry leading technology to help identify and prevent suspected fraudulent Debit Card activity. However, occasionally it is necessary to block signature based (credit) Debit Card transactions in other states, foreign countries, and at various merchant locations where fraudulent activity is prevalent. We take these preventive actions very seriously in order to protect INSOUTH Bank account holder’s funds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but assure you that this action is taken to protect you and your account.

To Help Prevent an Interruption in Debit Card Access:Use Your PINIf your card is denied, use your PIN. When necessary, INSOUTH Bank will block certain transaction types involving your Debit Card. These transactions are usually concentrated to a particular vendor or type of merchant. In most cases, you will able to process PIN based transactions, referred to by most merchants as “Debit”. Let Us KnowLet us know if you are traveling domestically or internationally. Contact the E-Banking Department at 1-866-348-3614, Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. We will notify our Fraud Detection service and reduce the likelihood that your transactions will be blocked. Debit Card Support is now available 24/7, in addition to our regular hours you may receive assistance with Debit Card denials or advise us of your travel plans. Just call (800) 541-3891, the number on the back of your Debit Card, follow directions and begin receiving assistance to avoid any interruptions when using your Debit Card. Take other forms of payment in case your Debit Card is Lost or Stolen. My Mobile MoneyMy Mobile Money gives you control of your INSOUTH Bank Debit Card right from your smart phone, with customizable alerts and services available 24/7! Make Sure Your Info Is UpdatedMake sure your contact information is up to date. Representatives from our Fraud Detection service may call you if there has been any suspicious activity with your Debit Card. It is important we have the best phone number on file to reach you in the event that you have a transaction blocked – in most cases, your mobile number.
